A first for Finish Line’s Studio Sessions, we sent Jacques Slade, sneakerhead and YouTube host, to interview Kendrick Lamar about his album, growing up in LA, and his personal connection with Reebok Classics.
Kick Genius Performance Reviews
Teamed up with basketball sneaker performance testers, KickGenius to test many of Finish Line's new basketball shoe offerings in a series of YouTube reviews. Some of the sneakers they reviewed included the Nike KD 7 (+1.5 mil views), Kyrie 1 (+1.3 mil views), and LeBron 12 (+1 mil views).
NBA All-Star Weekend 2015 Interviews
For NBA All-Star Weekend, we sent Russ Bengtson and Jacques Slade to interview 12 pro adidas NBA athletes, including Andrew Wiggins (left), Kenneth Faried, and Kyle Lowry, on their favorite adidas sneakers and the weekend’s festivities. We also hosted a meet-and-greet with several influencers during the event and had them giveaway free gear for fans and attendees. Click here to view all the interviews.
Influencer Campains for Sneaker Launches
To support one of our biggest releases of the year, the Nike Lunarglide 6, we let our "Finish Line Fam" team of 20+ influencers do the talking to providing quotes, photos, and product verification. We executed countless influencer campaigns for sneaker launches similar to this one, including campaigns for New Balance Classics, PUMA Ignites, Under Armour Speedforms, Saucony 2015s, and seasonal buyer's guides.
YoAnty's NFL Interviews
Worked with sneaker influencer and Finish Line brand ambassador, Yo Anty, to interview a variety of NFL athlete—including Jamaal Charles, Julio Jones, and Marquise Lee—for behind-the-scenes content for Finish Line's digital channels.
The Finish Line Women Run the Nike Women’s Half Marathon
For the Nike Women’s Half Marathon in San Francisco, we sent the Finish Line Women Team (brand ambassadors). We documented how each of them trained for the event, sent them on a virtual run, interviewed them about the experience, and captured content during the event for digital initiatives. The influencers also live-tweeted and sent images to their Instagram accounts that we re-shared on Finish Line's channels in real-time.
Anna Bediones & Not Just for the Gym
To support Finish Line's women's products, my team and I teamed up with sneaker and style influencer, Anna Bediones. Every other week, we'd send her key products to professionally style and give readers outfit coordination tips in her Not Just for the Gym column. She also posted images of her Finish Line outfits and quotes from her column to her social channels. Some of her photos became in-store assets.
