Finish Line & Reebok Classics Present Studio Sessions with Kendrick Lamar

A first for Finish Line’s Studio Sessions, we sent Jacques Slade, sneakerhead and YouTube host, to interview Kendrick Lamar about his album, growing up in LA, and his personal connection with Reebok Classics.


During my tenure at Finish Line's Digital Headquarters on the Content Team, I helped plan a variety of influencer campaigns. Here is a sampling of the campaigns we executed. The content produced was implemented across Finish Line's different channels and was integrated into emails, social media, and on the website. Some of our influencer photos were also made into in-store assets.

To support our women's products, we teamed up with style influencer, Anna Bediones. Every other week, we'd send her key products to professionally style and give readers outfit coordination tips in her Not Just for the Gym column. She also pushed out images of her Finish Line outfits and quotes from her column through her social channels.

For NBA All-Star Weekend, we sent Russ Bengtson and Jacques Slade to interview 12 pro adidas NBA athletes, including Andrew Wiggins (left), Kenneth Faried, and Kyle Lowry, on their favorite adidas sneakers and the weekend’s festivities. We also hosted a meet-and-greet with several influencers during the event and had them giveaway free gear for fans and attendees. Click here to view all the interviews.

NBA All-Star Weekend 2015 Interviews

To support one of our biggest releases of the year, the Nike Lunarglide 6, we let our "Finish Line Fam" team of 20+ influencers do the talking - providing quotes, photos, and product verification. We executed countless influencers campaigns for sneaker launches similar to this one, including campaigns for New Balance Classics, PUMA Ignites, Under Armour Speedforms, Saucony 2015s, and seasonal buyer's guides.

For the Nike Women’s Half Marathon in San Francisco, we sent our team of Finish Line Women (brand ambassadors). We documented how each of them trained for the eventsent them on a virtual run, interviewed them about the experience, and captured content during the event for our digital initiatives. The influencers also live-tweeted and sent images to their Instagram accounts that we re-shared in real time.

We had sneaker influencer and Finish Line brand ambassador, Yo Anty, interview a variety of NFL athletes - including Jamaal Charles, Julio Jones, and Marquise Lee - for behind-the-scenes content.

Basketball sneaker performance testers, KickGenius know what to look for when lacing up on the court, which is why we teamed up with them to test our court kicks, including the Nike KD 7 (+1.5 mil views), Kyrie 1 (+1.3 mil views), LeBron 12 (+1 mil views) and more.
