BEHR

Concept | Copy

The concept for Behr was Color Makes a Difference. Iconic statues or sculptures in big cities were made to look like their original color had been lost. The white paint would be temporary and would gradually wear off over a few weeks so people continuously notice a subtle change over time. As the paint starts to wear off, the logo and tagline, Color Makes a Difference, becomes visible.

Hot air balloons are typically full of vibrant colors. However, this hot air balloon, which would be tied down in Central Park (as well as other large parks nationwide) lacks the fun, bright color schemes that are expected, demonstrating the tagline, Color Makes a Difference.
